About the Artist...

Hannah Smith is a self-taught artist from Lancashire, England. Primarily working in Acrylic and Graphite mediums.

​

Her passion and curiosity for the natural world has always been deeply ingrained and is at the core of her artwork.

​

She has travelled the globe extensively, with specific experience working in marine conservation projects, across South-East Asia (Malaysia and Indonesia), Fiji and Seychelles.

​

 Hannah re-connected with art in adulthood during a period of ill health and spiritual transformation. Art was instrumental to her healing.

​

Hannah’s artwork is not limited to one subject and enjoys experimenting with new techniques and styles; ever willing to grow and develop her artistic voice. She combines patience, attention to detail and consistency developed through her scientific background; as well as her passion to communicate our connectedness to the environment, in particular the Ocean.

Hannah’s vision is to inspire others to reconnect to their soul through creating paintings of humans, animals, patterns and landscapes that capture the beauty and mystery on this planet.
